The Q1000 is equipped with a high-quality 5.14MP Sony STARVIS image sensor and advanced True HDR technology, ensuring that crucial details are captured with enhanced contrast and exceptional clarity.
DYNAMIC 1080P FULL HD - AT 60FPS
Q1000 dash camera also supports 1080P Full HD recording at 60 frames per second, delivering smoother and sharper images.
WIDE ANGLE VIEW
WITHOUT THE DISTORTION
Experience uninterrupted video coverage with a 156-degree wide-angle view. The innovative dewarping technology effectively reduces edge distortions commonly seen in wide-angle footage, providing you with a seamless and distortion-free visual experience.
SUPER NIGHT VISION 3.0
Perfect for nighttime journeys, the Q1000 is furnished with a top-notch Sony STARVIS image sensor and Thinkware's cutting-edge Super Night Vision 3.0 technology to enhance video brightness in low light conditions

DUAL
CHANNEL
By adding this rear camera to the mix, you gain the ability to record and monitor the activities happening behind your vehicle. The Q1000RA rear camera is available as an optional extra and is included in the 2-channel kits for your convenience.
HIGH-EFFICIENCY
VIDEO CODING FORMAT
By utilising High-Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC), high-resolution videos can be efficiently compressed, by streaming at low bit rates, reducing storage costs. Compared to the standard Advanced Video Coding format in dash cams, HEVC boasts a compression rate that is 1.7 times higher. As a result, you can enjoy exceptional video quality while consuming less memory space, making it a cost-effective solution.
ADVANCED DRIVER ALERT SYSTEM (ADAS)
Front Vehicle Departure Warning
The FVDW system alerts you when the car in front has resumed movement, keeping you vigilant during intersections or traffic congestion.
High Speed / Urban Forward Collision Warning System
Maintain a secure gap between your vehicle and the one ahead by utilising the FCWS/uFCWS feature. This dash cam incorporates an advanced road safety alert system that continuously calculates the real-time distance between your car and the vehicle in front, both on expressways (at speeds exceeding 30 kilometres per hour) and in bustling city traffic (below 30 kilometres per hour). In the event of a potential collision, this system provides the driver with a three-level early warning, based on the level of danger involved.
Lane Departure Warning System
This dash cam is equipped to promptly notify you if your vehicle drifts out of its lane while traveling at speeds exceeding 50 kilometres per hour. With the Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS) in place, you'll receive alerts when veering away from your lane, effectively safeguarding your journey by preventing any potential road mishaps.

BEST SIGNAL RANGE VIA DUAL BAND WI-FI
The Q1000 comes equipped with built-in Wi-Fi connectivity, offering support for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bandwidths. By employing dual-band wireless technology, the Q1000 ensures an optimal connectivity experience across various environments.
BUILT-IN BLUETOOTH
With its built-in Bluetooth functionality, the dash cam pairs with your compatible Android or iOS device through the Thinkware Dash Cam Link App. Once connected, you can replay your most recent driving videos and manage your dash cam's settings.

PARKING SURVEILLANCE MODE
With hardwiring installation, enjoy parking protection against potential mishaps and hit-and-runs by capturing footage when an impact or motion is detected (hardwiring cable or OBD-II cable required).
Smart Parking Mode
This feature prevents heat-related damage by automatically switching the Q1000 to a low-power mode if the temperature inside the vehicle gets too high during Parking Surveillance. In this state, the dash cam captures impact-triggered incidents exclusively, pausing Motion Detection or Time Lapse Parking mode until the operating temperature reaches a safe level to resume normal functionality.
Impact and Motion Detection
By turning on the Impact and Motion Detection, any potential vandalism attempts and hit-and-run drivers will be caught in the act while your vehicle is parked. In Parking mode, Impact Detection captures any impacts to the vehicle, while Motion Detection records any movement around your vehicle.

Time Lapse
In Parking mode, the Time Lapse feature allows the dash cam to record footage at a reduced rate of 2 frames per second (fps), enabling continuous surveillance of extended parking periods while minimising power consumption.
Energy Saving 2.0
The Energy Saving 2.0 feature in Parking Surveillance mode optimises power consumption by exclusively recording footage triggered by impacts, allowing the Q1000 to reduce its power consumption and remain in Parking mode for a longer duration.
