OBDTH01 - OBD-II Power Harness

Using the OBDTH01 OBD-II Power Harness makes installing your Thinkware Dash Cam incredibly easy. Instead of connecting the dash camera to the vehicle fuse box using three wires, the OBD-II harness can simply be plugged into the OBD-II port in your car, enabling a Plug & Play Installation. Once connected, your Thinkware Dash Cam's Parking Surveillance Mode will be enabled, just as if you had hardwired the dash cam using the HWC Hard Wire Kit.

The OBD-II T-Harness included in the kit is designed with an OBD-II plug and socket, allowing it to be seamlessly plugged in line with the vehicle's OBD-II port. This enables other OBD-II devices to be connected to the vehicle while the dash cam is connected, providing a discreet and streamlined installation solution for your Thinkware Dash Cam.

Additionally, the kit comes with an ignition module featuring a power-off delay feature, which provides consistent accessory power during varying vehicle conditions such as engine shutdown at a red light or alternator disengagement while driving. This feature is especially useful for vehicles equipped with stop-start technology.
